United Midwest was recently named the 13th largest SBA lender in number of loans and the 31st largest in dollar volume in the country. This ranking is determined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) based on the number of loans approved for the third quarter of their fiscal year-to-date ending 6/30/19. “This ranking is a result of our continued dedication to SBA and USDA business lending," stated Craig Street, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. "For a small community bank like United Midwest to surpass some of the nation's largest financial instutitions is no easy feat, but our experience with this type of lending and our ability to efficiently process and close the loan has led to our success. We know what we do well and we work hard to make sure we stay at the top of our field." United Midwest provides SBA loans up to $150,000 for business needs such as working capital and new franchisees, and SBA and USDA loans over $150,000 for business acquisitions, refinancing, new-equipment purchases, and building construction.
